English Translation Notice

This document is an English translation of the original French Terms of Service available at https://www.lotteryresultsapi.com/fr/conditions-particuliere-de-service/.

This translation is provided for information purposes only and is intended solely to facilitate understanding of the original French document.

In the event of any discrepancy, inconsistency, ambiguity, interpretation issue, omission, or conflict between the French version and this English translation, the French version shall prevail and shall constitute the only legally binding and authoritative version.

By using the services or purchasing the products described herein, the customer acknowledges and agrees that the original French version of these Terms of Service shall govern the contractual relationship with the Seller.

Applicable as of May 20, 2026.

These Special Terms supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of Lanxor, available at the following address: https://www.lanxor.fr/en/terms-of-sale/ as of May 20, 2026.

In the event of any contradiction between these Special Terms and the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, these Special Terms shall prevail for the Lottery Results API Service.

Article 1 : Purpose of the Service

Lottery Results API is a digital service provided by Lanxor enabling programmatic access to data relating to lottery results via an application programming interface (API).

The Service notably allows:

  • access to draw results;
  • access to historical results;
  • access to certain metadata relating to the covered lotteries;
  • the use of technical endpoints documented by the Vendor.

The available functionalities, technical limitations, applicable quotas, and pricing plans are specified in the technical documentation and on the Service’s commercial pages.

Article 2 : Access to the Service

Access to the Service requires the creation of a user account and the generation of one or more personal API keys.

The Client is solely responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of its credentials;
  • storing and securing its API keys;
  • any use made through its account or API keys.

Any compromise of an API key must result in its immediate regeneration or deactivation by the Client.

The Vendor reserves the right to suspend or revoke any API key in the event of:

  • fraudulent or abusive use;
  • breach of these Terms;
  • attempted attack or disruption of the Service;
  • use likely to compromise the security or stability of the infrastructure.

Article 2 bis : Free Trial Offer

The Vendor may, at its sole discretion, offer a free trial of the Lottery Results API Service (hereinafter the “Free Trial”), allowing the Client to access, free of charge, all or part of the Service in order to evaluate its features prior to subscribing to a paid plan.

The existence, maintenance, scope, duration, access conditions, as well as the functionalities included in the Free Trial, are freely determined by the Vendor and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time, without prior notice or compensation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Free Trial may include, without limitation, technical and functional restrictions such as:

  • reduced request quotas;
  • restricted access to certain endpoints or data;
  • enhanced rate limiting;
  • limitations on availability or processing priority;
  • any other restriction necessary for the proper operation of the Service.

The Free Trial is provided “as is”, without any warranty of any kind, including but not limited to availability, performance, continuity of service, data accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

The Vendor reserves the right to make access to the Free Trial subject to the creation of a user account, the provision of identification information, or any other technical or commercial condition.

The Client acknowledges that access to the Free Trial does not constitute any acquired right to access the Service, nor any commitment by the Vendor to offer a permanent free version of the Service.

Use of the Free Trial implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Special Terms and Conditions of Service.

Article 3 : Quotas and Technical Limitations

The Service may be subject to technical limitations, including but not limited to:

  • a maximum number of API requests;
  • rate limiting;
  • IP address-based restrictions;
  • storage or data retention limitations;
  • restrictions based on the subscribed plan.

Where applicable, the technical limitations and quotas set forth in this Article shall apply in addition to the Fair Usage Policy described in Article 3 bis.

Such limitations may be enforced automatically in order to ensure the stability, security, and proper operation of the Service.

Exceeding the applicable quotas may result in:

  • temporary throttling;
  • automatic rate limiting;
  • temporary suspension of access;
  • additional charges where provided for under the applicable commercial offer.

Article 3 bis: Fair Usage Policy

In order to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the Service for all Customers, the Seller may apply a Fair Usage Policy.

The purpose of this policy is to prevent excessive, abusive, or otherwise unreasonable use of the Service that could adversely affect its proper operation, including where the quotas or technical limitations described in Article 3 have not been reached or are not temporarily enforced.

Without limitation, the following may be considered inconsistent with reasonable use of the Service:

  • resource consumption that is clearly disproportionate to the normal and intended use of the subscribed plan;
  • excessive or repetitive automated requests without a legitimate functional purpose;
  • activities likely to impair the performance or availability of the Service for other Customers;
  • any attempt to circumvent the Seller’s rate limiting, monitoring, or load-balancing mechanisms.

Where the Seller determines that a Customer’s use exceeds what may reasonably be expected, the Seller may, where circumstances reasonably permit, inform the Customer and implement proportionate measures intended to protect the proper operation of the Service, including:

  • temporarily limiting request rates or request frequency;
  • requesting that the Customer modify its use of the Service;
  • recommending a subscription plan better suited to the Customer’s level of usage;
  • temporarily suspending access to all or part of the Service in the event of continued or manifestly abusive use.

The implementation of this Fair Usage Policy shall not be construed as modifying the quotas, technical limitations, or commercial terms applicable to the subscribed plan, which shall remain governed by these Terms and the Service documentation.

Article 4 : Security and Data Protection

The Seller implements reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the data processed within the framework of the Service.

These measures may include, in particular:

  • access control mechanisms;
  • authentication systems;
  • logging and monitoring measures;
  • infrastructure and communication protection mechanisms;
  • backup and recovery procedures;
  • measures designed to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure of data.

The Seller may use specialized third-party providers for certain technical functionalities related to the operation of the Service, including user authentication, infrastructure hosting, monitoring, or security.

The Client acknowledges that the Seller remains free to choose its technical solutions, provided that appropriate security measures are implemented in relation to the nature of the Service.

However, the Seller does not guarantee any absolute security obligation nor the complete absence of vulnerabilities or interruptions.

The Client remains responsible for:

  • the confidentiality of their credentials and access;
  • securing their own systems and equipment;
  • the use of their API keys and user accounts.

In the event of a security incident affecting personal data and subject to a legal notification obligation, the Seller shall take the necessary reasonable measures in accordance with applicable regulations.

Upon termination of the Service, data may be deleted within a reasonable period, unless otherwise required by law or retention is necessary for security, evidentiary purposes, or fraud prevention.

Article 5 : Right of Withdrawal

This article supplements Article 5 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable to the Lottery Results API Service.

The Lottery Results API Service is a digital service supplied electronically, the execution of which begins immediately upon order confirmation, notably through:

  • the creation of the user account;
  • the activation of the subscription;
  • and the provision of API keys;

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised when:

  • the performance of the Service has begun before the end of the statutory withdrawal period; and
  • the Client has previously given express consent to the commencement of performance and acknowledged the loss of their right of withdrawal.

Upon subscribing to the Service, the Client is invited to give express consent to the immediate commencement of the Service and to expressly acknowledge the loss of their right of withdrawal.

Consequently, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions, no right of withdrawal may be exercised after effective activation of the Lottery Results API Service.

Article 6 : Service Availability

The Seller endeavors to ensure reasonable availability of the Service but does not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability.

The Service may be temporarily interrupted, in particular in the event of:

  • maintenance;
  • updates;
  • technical incidents;
  • network overload;
  • events beyond the Seller’s control.

Unless a specific commitment is stated in a separate commercial offer (SLA), no minimum level of availability is guaranteed.

Article 7 : Data and Accuracy of Results

The data provided through the Service comes from sources considered reliable by the Seller.

However:

  • the Seller does not guarantee absolute accuracy;
  • the Seller does not guarantee data completeness;
  • the Seller does not guarantee the absence of publication delays;
  • the Seller does not guarantee the absence of errors or omissions.

Lottery results provided through the Service are for informational purposes only.

The Client remains solely responsible for verifying any necessary information with the official lottery organizations concerned.

The Seller shall not be held liable for:

  • any missed winnings;
  • any misinterpretation;
  • any financial loss;
  • any decision made based on the provided data.

Article 8 : Authorized Use

Subject to compliance with these Terms, the Client is granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the API for its internal needs or for uses permitted under its subscription.

The Client is expressly prohibited from:

  • reselling raw access to the API without written authorization;
  • circumventing technical limitations;
  • performing abusive automated requests;
  • disrupting or attempting to disrupt the Service;
  • using the Service for unlawful purposes;
  • reverse engineering the Seller’s systems, except where expressly permitted by law;
  • using the Service to create a competing service primarily based on the data provided by the Seller.

Article 9 : Intellectual Property

The API structure, documentation, software, interfaces, databases, technical components, and associated content remain the exclusive property of the Seller or its licensors.

No intellectual property rights are transferred to the Client under these Terms.

The Client retains ownership of its own applications, services, and developments using the API.

Article 10 : Suspension and Termination

The Seller may immediately suspend access to the Service or deactivate an API key in the event of:

  • non-payment;
  • breach of these Terms;
  • abusive use;
  • security risks to the Service;
  • any activity likely to engage the Seller’s liability.

Unless otherwise required by law, no compensation shall be due in the event of a suspension resulting from a breach by the Client.

The Service is provided “as is”.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Seller shall not be held liable for:

  • indirect damages;
  • loss of revenue;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of data;

  • temporary interruptions of the Service.

In any event, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions, the Seller’s total liability under the Service shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the Client during the twelve (12) months preceding the dispute.

Article 12 : Service Changes

The Seller may freely evolve the Service, including:

  • modifying the API;
  • adding or removing features;
  • modifying endpoints;
  • changing response formats;
  • updating documentation;
  • replacing certain data sources.

Where reasonably possible, major incompatible changes will be communicated in advance.

Article 13 : Technical Support

Support is provided according to the terms of the subscribed commercial offer.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • support is provided exclusively via electronic means;
  • no development assistance is guaranteed;
  • no guaranteed response times are provided.

Article 14 : Ownership of User Data

No ownership, exclusivity, or proprietary rights are transferred to the Client over the Service Data.

The Client is authorized to use the Service Data for its own purposes, subject to compliance with:

  • these Terms;
  • the usage limitations set out in the contract;

The Service Data shall not be considered Client Data nor elements protected under Article 9.

Article 14.3 : Operational and Security Data

The Seller may collect and process technical data relating to the use of the Service (hereinafter the “Operational Data”), including in particular but not limited to information relating to API usage, Service performance, security, billing, or support.
